Fun fact:
About Century plants, aka Agave americana, they only bloom ONCE, then begin to die. Growing 20-30 feet tall, a yellow bloom stock appears after 10-30 years or even longer. Then as the main plant dies, it produces offshoots from the base, allowing the species to continue.
