Another spontaneous waterfall...
We've seen this happen before, but yesterday's 20-minute monsoon storm was definitely one for the books. Forty-foot rivers ran across the property headed for the canyon. All is calm this morning.. like nothing happened. The sun is shining bright as usual but there will be a monsoon repeat this afternoon. Afterall, tis the season. Yay for solar, everyone in town is without power today LOL.
Ohmygoodness! It's a'stormin'! After the major part of the downpour, I dodged rain, lingering thunder and lightning strikes to show you the amazing spontaneous waterfall just steps from our deck. Oh my! Now I'm soaked!

I drove a different way than usual and discovered this, just one street over from Main. Cows arrived while I was there, maybe to be slaughtered?
Some positive attributes that coneflowers symbolize are healing, strength and resilience AND, of course, roses to celebrate personal growth and the journey of life.
Although every sunset is special, tonight you could just feel it in the air.. like the monsoons are on the way.
These are our favorite wildflower on our property, but we don't know what they are. She thinks maybe they're wild petunias, he thinks sweet pea. Are we both wrong? What say you? =)
